Cheers Frank, Well it's been going for awhile. Done only part of the transfer shifter though. Then I'll make a new console out of ally. Even so it's very respectable off-road in high range with no centre diff lock. Might be goin up to Lancelin soon so I better get a move on. I want to at least have the diff lock shifter done.

Update time.
Got the transfer shifters done.
Made this stainless Diff lock bracket;

Fits on transfer box here...

The shifter end needed this extra bit welded in...

Yeah it works good.
You need to actually have a go Frank. I reckon you have much more skill than you know. Buy a welder and do it!
In fact the next time you want to do something let me know. You can bring the parts around and I'll show you how to do it. I'll do half then you do the other half.

I dont need to do much to my car..
actually ii have to remove the rusted out boot strut mounts and weld in some new ones!

I have a work car now... rodeo dual cab :(
but hey its free!

Back on topic, I've f**k the front CV's on the rangie now. But I've got some '98 Disco front and rear diffs to put in to fix that.
Then I'll get some of these Walker Evans wheels in 17x8.....
