Took a couple of pictures.
I love the front on shots.

And one with my brother's bogan-spec AU, complete with mismatching panels and peeling wheels.

LOL! parking your car next to the AU makes it look that much better. you'd think the el came 'after' the au.
Im really tempted to start a thread for my el now..

Haha yeah, it really shows.... the colour of EL...
along with the matching panels...
I'm a bit upset that my father went for the AU..
But it is his first car, its not too horrible.

You should definitely start a thread for your EL mate,
I want to see this!

Im using SMDLEDs from Futuraclassic, and they are awesome and bright.
They hurt my eyes to look at them, without the dial face on.

They work really well.

after the torment of pulling out the EL Dash....
Such an annoyingly simple task.

hey guys i have 3 sites, ebay facebook and my website mentioned earlier in a few posts. My smd leds are super bright and are available for ea eb ed ef (el with ef globe holders only) au. i also have smd globes to replace buttons in dash and au odometer as well. i always offer refunds once returned and can help with installation of most ford models. 16 dollars a set for clusters and you get 10 in a set. this means you have extrta for clock and ashtray etc. Shifter globes can also be purchased.

let me know if i can help guys

Okay,
I've figured out my next mod.
Im going to be (trying to) install a NL interior dome light into the EL Ghia.
Using this thread as a guideline:
ford-interior-f14/fairlane-dome-light-mod-t26652.html
Thanks for that Deckard...

It should take a trip the to wrecker,
buy the part + looms + bracket(s),
soldering wires.

Hopefully I actually get around to doing this mod,
as the dome light looks really neat,
and will be one of those mods that is subtle yet attractive.

Cheers,
Russ.

Yep, it is a good little mod. I have had one in my EB sedan and now it lives in my Wagon.

Cheers
BenJ

To be honest, if they were still AAA*123 or even AA1*2AA instead of AA*12*AA I would have got the black and yellow ones. I just think the format is messy.
