Today was a long awaited day,
as due to the shipping from Hong Kong to Australia...
I received my 5m long SMDLED strip!
So with the help of a few mates I installed it straight into the existing boot light wiring.
I'm happy with both the light output and how it looks. It's amazingly bright.

You could use them as runway lights at Richmond Air Base!

Next "mod" will be sticking this on the rear window.
It'll be 180mm x 180mm.

It'll be in white so it looks nice on the green tint.

Metallica! \m/
Cheers,
Russ.

Got my Metallica star decal today.
Being that I'm kind of obsessed, this makes me a lot happier than it would most people.
I love it. The green tint really makes the white pop out.

I've only just noticed the condensation in the passenger side tail light. :(
Might have to figure out how to get rid of it, other than whacking it in the oven...

Cheers,
your friendly Metallica fan,
Russ.

So I've made up a list on what needs to be done to the car as soon as I can get the money together, which should be in the next week or so.
1. Fix front seal leak
2. Rotors and Pads
3. Lowered shocks and springs

The shocks and springs I'm grabbing are some custom wound Lovells (between SL and SSL) and Ultima shocks off a fellow Fordmodder.
I'm hoping to chuck them in on Saturday morning, along with the possibility of getting some genuine FTR's off my older brother, as I have a feeling my tyres are going to be too tall.

Cheers,
Russ.

If you do get those FTR's, sell them as well as the set currently on your car and invest in these:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-EL-GT-A ... 1e67fd1208
or these
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-EL-Fair ... 35b616b66f

so much better imo

Try some Wheel places in your area, people trade in when they upgrade rims, you might get a good deal if your after some 17", or try Gumtree or Ebay. What is your budget for wheels?

I'm looking at anything really, I'd love some NF concorde wheels or something flashy but not over bearing.... or some convo pros :P
My budget at the moment is about $500ish dollars.
I trawl eBay nearly everyday, I'll have a sticky beak at Gumtree and Trading Post.
Thanks,
