They should be okay for a little while, the discs and pads.
Also,
trade price is pretty good on the pocket, it's as easy as picking up an apprenticeship... haha

do you think you'd find some alright tyres at the wreckers?

can get secondhand tyres at some tyre joints, i pay $25 per corner for 15's, more than enough tread, wreckers could supply, but removal from wheel, balance and fitting would be all up to you.

I actually think they are 3.5",
about 88mm from one side of the metal to the other.

Ohhh that is large ! I was thinking of getting a dual dump pipe exhaust from the single one that I have at the moment. Just had a body kit fitted and a might fill it nicely.

I'm not keen on the green tint, the rest looks brilliant though mate. Does it give a greenish hue inside?

Throw some 225/50s on the wheels you already have, and they will look much bigger and the car will be lower. Would be s**t better since you need tyres! You could even get second hand ones with good tread for $40-$50 each, gives you more time to hunt for some other wheels if you want.

It is hard to find E-series wheels these days.

The plates look good too.

Cheers mate.
I'm going to keep on looking and looking until I find something...

I had an idea yesterday though...
What if I get the FTR's painted a deep grey.
Kinda like the colour that the EL XR6s came in.
I know a spray painter that could do it for me,
a mate's dad. He did it to his VS GTS wheels.
I would love the whole "dark" scheme.

Either that...
or Dark Agents.
Haha

Thanks,
Russ.

My power steering pump is now stuffed.
So, I'll be fixing that up very soon... hopefully.

My immediate list (after some pay comes in), in chronological order is:

1. Power steering pump
2. 4x New wheels and tyres. Possibly these (anyone know of the build quality?)
Image
Woooaahhhh, didn't realise the size of the picture.... haha.
They are 17" Show Wheel Thrashstars. It's $1200 for a set of 4 wheels and new tyres.... hmmm...

3. New DBA/RDA Slotted rotors and EPC/Bendix Pads on all four corners.
4. Wire up corning lamps as parkers
5. 2x Narva +50% H4 globes

Should set me back a bit, but after its done, I'll be happy.

Too good Rew,looks neat as mate, and dont worry mods get done all in good time, you enjoy the car more when you still have things to do on it (except for untimley and unwanted mechanical repairs)lol but it happens to alot of us.And those show wheels are a good quality rims very nice,i was actually looking at a staggered set of 18+20 inch show wheels, but they were just out of my price range at the time, but i like them alot, they actually look even nicer in real than what they do on the pics.keep up the good work mate.
