And agree on the mudflaps, look better without em and prob be more practical as well.

This is of course only an opinion. Please don't hurt me :(

Hahaha your a crack up man, fully agree with you on this one,and as for the removal of silicon couldnt agree more with your method,i had a slighly diffrent way but yours sounds easier,so your safe wont hurt ya this time haha lol,but maby instead of wearing out your finger nail go get a plastic or hard rubber spatula thingo or platic scraper so it doesnt scratch the s**t out ot of the paint, but still be careful cos it can still damage if you go too hard.yeh but what uniacidz said is the best bet,i might have pinch that idea to use in those sticky situations especially doublesided tape on badges.

Cheers,
I might give the mudflaps a go, when I get more sunshine.
Effing stupid summer weather, my god.

Next plan is to whack a Fordmods sticker on the car,
remove the OTHER pinstripe (Been about 4 months in the making),
give her a REALLY big detail and clean up,
and then maybe purchase a double din JVC headdeck, something like this.
It's a JVC KW-XR416.
Image
That'd fill up the gap I have real nicely.

Theres always HEAPS to do...

Cheers.

Regarding headunit.

Why not a dvd one?

+1

Deffinately recommend you invest in 1 mate. They are a very nice touch to your interior giving it a more streamline look with less buttons and all. Also, with mine you can actually change the colour of the buttons to anything you want, so you can still have the green theme.
Plus you have a lot of other bonus features like reverse camera, gps, USB browsing, AV input etc.

I'm just saying, if you're gonna upgrade, get something with a few extra goodies..

why not a philips DVD player? I was quoted $670 at a friends local auto parts store but after digging around on ebay I found a guy in melbourne selling the same unit for $400. A few weeks after he dropped the price down to $330.

I don't want to spend too much on a double din unit. That JVC one is only $175, so it suits me.

Another idea...

Delete the centre muffler and pop a Hooker Aero muffler to the tailpipe.

Winning?

It sounds good in theory but I have a middle muffler and a rear hotdog and it's fairly loud (without sounding gay)
I Also have extractors and a 100cpsi cat..
I suppose it just depends on what you're going for and how loud you think is loud as everyone's opinion on exhaust loudness differs :)
I don't know if I've said it already but those rims look epic and make me want new/bigger rims 8-)

They shouldn't actually be too bad... bit of windex, believe it or not, actually works really well on chrome. Just spray em off then wipe over any smudges with windex and a cloth.

Maby windex would work well, dont know havent tried it yet,but actually from my experiences with polished rims, they do get dirty easy yes but if you stay on top of it cleaning them is p i s s easy dont nead no chems on them just hose them down and with a clean chamoi(sorry if i spelt it wrong but it pronounced shammy) wipe em down they come up like new, unless they are dirty with somthing more than just dirt or brake dust otherwise thats is it and if you want and still not satisfied with the chamoi end result, wait till they dry a bit then wipe with a dry clean soft cloth, bling bling bling.i dont like putting any polishes or any other solvents unless they are tarnished or older stains, but being new wheels you wont need to in my opinion.

At the moment Im running a single muffler in the centre, with extractors and a 200CPSI cat. Its loud, but I would love it louder. Drone doesn't really bother me at all... haha
And cheers about the rims mate, Im still infatuated.

Well if you aren't concerned about drone then I say go for it haha
Mine gets a little annoying cruising along at 110 but that's when you put the stereo on and let the bass drown it out 8-)

i have a set of tiger extractors, high flow cat and straight through 'mega flow' exhaust... the straight through muffler made the difference... give it that extra boost of noise needed to make it "loud"

drones a little on the highway, but s**t happens aye...

Yeah, mine is a tad louder than average because of the stage 2 cam and ported head etc. But I wouldn't mind a few more decibels.
