Nothing new at the moment...
Just a video I found, doing a bit of a skid.

That's outback NSW for you...

Thanks brother, glad to see another Fairmont owner!
Photoshop is the best way to get the desired look of your dial,
just mod it to your liking, or get a mate with that sort of talent (like I did)
All you have to worry about is the paper you print it out on, as some paper will let too much light through, and others will let none through.

And the LED conversion is easy as.
Just grab EF bulb holders, (as the EL Falcon ones were sealed) and plug the LEDs in.

Good luck mate,
Cheers.

Currently waiting for tax time.

The Ghia will see new front bearings and new rotors/pads on all four corners. (Might even spray the calipers/hubs while I'm there... Might stick with black on both to keep it simple.)

Slotted rotors will be the go again, more than likely RDA.
And for the pads, I'd like the QFM HPX's, not sure where they get stocked though...
Maybe my spare parts blokes will be able to help me out.

I'm talking out of my butt at the moment though, due to lack of funds.
But when tax time comes... she'll be sweet.

Cheers,
Russ.

fuuuck funds. i cracked it today because after just under a month being off the road due to pooped tranny, i've been running around picking up parts for conversion as my funds let me, i went to put the clutch in today after getting the auto and that out nover the w/e, and found out my flywheel is a 3 bolt one. :x
and i've still gotta put standard springs back in the rear as my tailshaft was rubbing.
plus i want to send her in soon to get most of my bushes done.

oh the life of a young modder.
good to see we have our goals.

In preparation for All Fords Day, I decided that the Ghia needed some TLC.
Over the next few weeks, Ill hopefully get the rig into "show condition".
I started by polishing the exhaust tips using Autosol Metal Polish, and the results were awesome.

Right hand tip is the polished one.
Im really impressed with the results.

Next weeks list is:
- Wheels and tyres treatment
- Respray plastics in black gloss enamel
- Attempt to recondition the left hand headlight.

Cheers,
Russ.

Just bought some gloss black enamel to respray the plastics on the car.
I've already hit the airbox lid with the paint, so when it dries it'll look purrrdy.

I'm also thinking of spraying the serpentine cover a silver colour, the same as my instrument cluster surround.

Cheers!

That's what I do to mine every few months, comes up awesome!
Take heaps of pics of how you tape everything up etc as I'd love to redo all my moulds too, so scary though haha, I hate painting things

Cheers, Luke
