Looks great russ! That top one is so good! I actually can't wait to start doing stuff to mine again. Just over a month left of pain to go...

Got any more plans for her?

Cheers mate! Havent heard from you in a while, hey.
I think my next port of call would be to get a T.I J3 chip and get her running a bit smoother.
Not sure what'll be after that, but I'm sure there will always be something else.

Welsh plug is fixed up with a shiny new brass one.
Hasn't leaked from either the bottom most heater hose or the welsh plug itself, so that's good.
Now I just need to flush it right out, whack the new thermostat and gasket on and she should be right as rain.

After that's all done, I'm putting her up for sale.
I need a ute for work, so the old girl needs to go.
:'(

Cheers,
Russ.

Yea, its been a bit ay!
Ah yea, I might be investing in one also when I cam (and maybe stall) her up next year.

Don't sell man. You'll regret it. Just get your boss to sign a form for a trailor and you're golden!
Think of all the good times you've had with it; the grille, the rims, (the ftr's lol), dropping the C***...
But, at the end of the day, its your choice. Hope it all works out for you anyway...

wise decision, just gave a quick flick through your thread, and i see youve spent alot of money & time on it. Move it on now before it sucks you dry like a las vegas crack whore. My EF i spent close to 12k on mods & mostly maintenance (im f@cking serious) In the end i removed a couple obvious things like wheels, chip & cam then sold it for market value $3500, & thats when the car market was good...........

i just recently sold a fully optioned AU V8 fairmont ghia in really good original condition for 7k. It took a few weeks, and only got 2 calls in that time, lucky one of them was ready to buy.

be prepared to be bent over, and f@cked vigorously

ufortunatly the market value of cars older then 10 year has dropped in the a**..
considering ba,s can be brought for under 5 g now days.
not saying your cars not worth it, just money spent is not money returned..

Yeah Im just open to anything that's reasonable, it'll suck to see her go... but it needs to be done.
Just need something more mature for now, less fuel, more reliable, etc.

Thanks for the input guys, means a tonne.

100% exactly what I was planning on, thanks Uniacidz! You're incredible! Haha

Well I'll either be getting something on e-gas, in the B series, or a Hilux. But I'll be like the fore mentioned Uniacidz, and stick around. I'm always going to be a Ford man, so why not keep on the forums.
