I picked up an EL Fairmont Ghia,
The bloke I bought it off was a well-off city kid,
so he "had to have everything",
and now I've taken it off his hands.

Mods:
Port and Polished
Stage 2 Cam and Head
Custom Steel Intake
Hi-tech Headers
High Flow Cat
2.5" Sport System
Green Window Tinting
Clear Side Indicators
Corning Lamps (Aren't hooked up, might wire them to parkers/low beam if I figure it out)
EL GT/DL LTD Momo Steering Wheel
1400W Kenwood Amp
12" Schneider Subwoofer
And all the Ghia bits, (Leather, Woodgrain etc)

My Project List:
BA/F Ghia Badges
Either a Difillipo Stainless Intake or a PVC Intake,
K&N Pod Filter in the Box,
SS Induction Snorkel,
J3 Performance Chip.

I'm pretty stoked with what I've got,

I've already changed the grubby towball cover to a nice chrome plastic one,
and replaced all the courtesy lights and most interior lights with white LEDs.
I'll upload a picture of the engine bay the next chance I get during daylight.
It's clean and with the little things, like the BA Fairlane ornament, corning lamps
and clear side repeaters, it just sets it off.

I'll be removing all the stickers and putting on some BA Fairlane Ghia Badges on soon.
The plates are getting surrended on Saturday too... the CAW 666 plate isn't personalised
for me, so I thought I'd just get stock Yellow and Black plates.

She's my baby now, I'm happy.

The tube sitting right across the BBM, thats very restrictive, replace that. Check also in the airbox lid for the adapter and see if thats restrictive. You have a nice engine, may as well give it the most air you can.

Personally, i reckon the original wheels you had on it looked better and classier. Its a Monty, show it as one IMHO. Dunno why, never was a fan of FTR's. I guess cos i have seen a s**t load of em on like GLI cars and usually grubby but regardless i havent seen a set on any car that made it look good and your car looked good and classy prior.

Especially with that new grill, makes it look confused. Is it a GLI with FTRs or a Monty.

Is your car of course and your baby so dont mean to offend ya.
And get a better jack,

Cheers for the constructive criticism man,
That is the exact purpose I wanted this thread made for,
so I can get ideas and feedback...

But down the track I want BF Cobra wheels or Typhoon wheels,
so it looks less common, but for now the FTR's will have to do.
