Hey guys...
I've finally bought myself another Falcon.
This time being an EF XR8, 5sp Manual.

It was a bit of a Central NSW special. Goats and chickens called the thing home for quite some time, but other than the exterior, it's half decent.

Its standard other than a oddjobs catback exhaust, lowered springs and a set of wheels.

Its a fun thing to drive around in, and sounds pretty great.
Plans were to originally fix it up, then sell it... but being in another E Series as opposed to a '94 Honda just made me happy for some reason.

These are the pictures Ive got. Good from far, but kinda far from good.

Needs generic s**t done, sticky BEM relays, L/H/S engine mount, roof lining, window tint, lower ball joints, but other than that it's pretty cool.

Glad to be back in an E Series though.

Any tips on quick improvements would be appreciated also.

Cheers guys,
Russ.

Mods list that I've come up with so far:
1. Exhaust
I have a lead on some pacemaker extractors + cats, then I'll get the rest of the pipe sorted by removing most of the mufflers and replacing with something less restrictive for dat crisp 5L note..
2. H1 HIDs for low beam.
The lights at the moment are pretty terrible, so I thought Id annoy everyone on the road with some HIDs.
3. Short throw shifter.
$100 Evilbay specials.

Not sure how nuts I want to go with intake manifold, heads, cam, CAI etc just yet.

A cheap but effecting upgrade is a set of gt40p heads and explorer intake. They are cheap enough on fleabay to not have any excuses. A set of 1.7 Rockers are going to wake it up too. E7's and HO manifolds are possibly the s**t things out there, and you have them both.

Yeah... Don't really have the motivation to whack new heads on it honestly, more keen on bolt on stuff for the time being. Thanks but

Bolt on are really in all honesty a waste of time and money when you have the E7 and HO combo holding you back.

It's a fair call I guess but don't really want to pour too much money into it. As I don't plan on keeping for ages. Idea is to get an XR6T later on, but this is an awesome in between

Ill be transferring rego plates soon enough.

Just bought a set of 6000k H1 HIDs for low beam, and also a set of LED dash lights to replace the old halogen type.
If any of you remember, LEDs are one thing that I cant really get enough of.

Cheers.
