So I went down to Sydney yesterday to pick up this 1998 EL Fairmont Ghia. Cost me $500 and has the full XR6 Tickford Running gear with a 3.45 LSD Diff and Hybrid engine. All the good parts will be going into the Futura including the front end. Here are some pictures!

If anyone needs any parts let me know and i'll get back to you.

So I've been busy today and got most of the dash out. Much much easier than what most people make it out to be! No problems at all! Here are some pictures. :)

So tomorrow i'm going to book her in to get the new fairmont front end resprayed green, the new ghia bumper bars with the chrome strips, the new boot lid without the damage around the lock from someone trying to get in, and the ghia side moulds with the chrome stips. Should look good when it's done!

Do the plastic bits come off the buckle? I didn't think they did. I'll have a look tomorrow to see how many I have and what ones they are. :)

Doing real well with it mate! All you need is a Ticky kit and it would be perfect!

Or you could add some boost! I am selling a blower kit which would suit this perfectly! *shameless self-plug*

It's been a little too long since I was on here last! But i've been busy! I've got my 3.45 LSD diff all painted up pretty and installed under the car, and now i'm currently just finishing of painting the engine, already finished replacing all the gaskets and seals I could possibly think of. Here are some pics!

It's coming along really nicely! I can't wait to have it all together, and to have the Speed Sensitive Steering fitted soon too, along with the Ghia ECU to run it all!

Hey Ryan.
You wouldn't happen to have a el ecu I could borrow for a day or two?
Been chasing a gremlin in my car, and would like to try another ecu to see if that's the problem.
PM me if you can help out.
Cheers mate.

Im currently in the process of cleaning up the engine bay and K-frame, ready for a quick touch up paint before the new tick ford engine goes in. Starting to get a little excited now. Then after that, new new dash loom goes in to support the trip computer and climate control!

I'll be posting some new pictures soon!

Yep, as long as you don't mind if I plug my j3 chip in.
Can you PM me your number so I can contact you.
I'll send you a PM now if you'd rather call me.

Also would be very interested to see your car in the flesh.
Cheers as.
J.

Also I have a 3000rpm hi-stall torque converter if you're interested. ..
