After a couple of weeks of painful gearbox bearing noises I finally got another one. HUUGE difference.

Don't forget about the injectors you scored off me.

Indeed... Are these injectors beneficial in any way? Such as economy?

Okay...

Well I have this amp, an option audio oax1502, 1500rms@ 1ohm...

http://www.optionaudio.com/amplifiers_oax1502.php

And considering two of these suckers... OA 12" DVC subs, 800RMS

http://www.optionaudio.com.au/subwoofers_OA12PRO11.php

Open to professional opinions... And experiences...

Cheers.
Sam.

Those subs look quite good. Big voice coil. Nice excursion. 800wrms is some big bass. Two of em should thump. The amp looks to be slighty underpowering the subs though. Check the tested rms output of the amp before you buy it. I know my kicker amp was supposed to be a 750wrms but was tested with certificate at 933wrms.
What box arrangement are you looking at running? Ported?

Cheers

Sam

I already have the amp. Reason being it was last years stock going for cost price. So I thought, why not? Dont think the amp came with a test certificate, am I able to get it tested? As is they won't be underpowered by much I wouldnt imagine. Yeah I'll be sticking with a ported setup. Each with own separate enclosure.

I'm currently running 4 gauge cable.

4 gauge will not be enough for those suckers. Think about running 0 gauge. And you will require a second battery depending on whether you want to be able to listen to it for long or not. Dont go a capacitor. The option audio stuff should crank harder than its rated anyway. Just be careful as you can fry amps if they are too underpowered for the subs.

Cheers

Sam

Hmmm... Decisions decisions... I'm still bearing in mind that I want to keep a bit of boot space to fit a tool box in the boot... Will have to make up some custom boxes. Putting a battery in the boot might influence my plans to go ahead with a turbo. 8-)

Got done for Too low which was near fully loaded (toolbox in boot, passenger, etc). No h pattern on gear knob. Wipers on dirty windscreen (bugs, dust, whatever). And no rubber on the Clutch pedal.
