It's strange cos there is definately no power going to the starter motor. I switch the head light on that still works and it doesn't dim at all. It may be more internal but I'll check under the car today to see if the plugs are still in. I'll try the thump technique, and tommorrow I'll get another BEM from the wreckers. I hope it's not the ecu because I was going to reuse it in the next car.

hopefully its not the ecu, do you know anyone with a falcon even auto? you will still be able to start it with the auto ecu it will just idle high and the thermos will be constantly running.

yeah but that manifold is in a C*** of a spot though. Worth a crack. I'll have to hook the lux up again with the jumpers. I put the battery on the charge last night so I wonder if it's recovered at all...

He should still have the one he pulled out....short it like our vl Sam. It will be fun where the falcon starter is

thanks mate that didn't even cross my mind to be honest. I've still got it's original auto ecu so that's another thing I'll try. I do know that the bem and ecu work in conjunction with each other because had immobiliser issues a while back where the ecu wasn't reading the bem.

Got the bastard started. All it was, was a little black plug that near the negative terminal. How I missed it? I have no clue. Always seems to be the case, something really really simple... But it started up no worries. Didn't realise how much I missed that sound. LOL. She's now in the shed on blocks ready for stripping.

That's good to hear. So are you buying another car and using the parts or is this one repairable?
Thanks
