so after reading through these forums day after day i decided i'd start my own build thread!
so about a year ago i finally decided to get my licence after years of relying on public transport and my girlfriend. and have to say ill never go back to public transport at any cost!! so after few months of having my license i went and bought my 2005 XT BA mkII (63000ks) in shockwave blue.

prior to have my license ive never really had an interest in cars but i knew id never be caught driving a commy. from the moment i started looking i knew i wanted a ba/bf falcon didnt really know to much about different models. first yard i looked at i was immeadiately drawn to their xr6 turbo ute. but was out my price range, something they did have in my area was a v8 au ute which i test drove and while i really liked the v8 it had done almost 300,000ks.

so searched the website for a few weeks, wondered roung local yards and the was nothing that i liked and that i could afford, until girlfriends dad who owns f-100 spares at lonsdale found my ride across the street. cos he knew the people who owned it they gave me a pretty sweet deal on it and 10grand later it was mine.

havent really done to much to the car yet just a few leds. already came tinted ,17" SR alloys, somewhat lowered which was what i was told but i dont think so. and the fun part is that it already had LSD.
hopefully some time this week i can put some pictures up and should have my growler CAI put in some time this week or next.

cheers hadnt planned on doing much to it until i got onto these forums, put the new fg series based ss growler in a few weeks ago, makes a sick induction roar and more responsive with a small improvment in fuel. gonna be painting my calipers blue and painting my rims black on the week end hopefully, gettin a bit bored with those wheels and cant afford new ones. also got some dba 4000 series rotors on the way in a few weeks but unsure bout what pads to get. heard the bendix ultimates can destroy the rotors fairly quick can any one confirm or deny?

sounds good, i wanna paint my brakes but my car is always too dirty to make it worthwhile lol
id love to put a growler on too

i found my bendix pads (cant remember what ones they were) on my eb were useless cold, i had to warm them up before they were actually safe to use
