Could be the Upper Shock mounting bracket in the rear. we sell a few of them still and they cost $113.00 each side. Part number is AU2 5T120B R/H and AU2 5T121B L/H.

Im sorry papa smurf, but have you stolen the computer program from work that has all the part numbers for all model falcons, aswell as the price list. Or are you just at work when your on fordmods

Sorry but I had to ask, you cant possibly remember all these part numbers and prices on everything.

I truly wish I could XR-Lane, can remember a LOT of part numbers, after 41 years I think I should have a FEW locked away in the OLD head :D

I do have Microcat at home and I use it to try and help. So many people do NOT realize that some parts are still available and not always an arm and leg. It's better also to go armed with part numbers when looking for hard to get stuff. A lot of parts guys will say, Na mate, too old, can't get em. So, by having numbers and at least a retail price can make things a tad easier. :D

I have been in Spares for 41 years, have been dabbling with Ford since XY Falcon days, also 20 other car franchises. I can't give this out as it is on loan to me and also you need a special goody to run it, would cost you over $200.00 and you would have to buy it from Microcat and you have to be a Ford dealer :(

And yes, it IS short for micro catalogue.

I currently work for Thomson Ford/.

Ditto, that would be very helpful.

I have booked my car in but my local mech is busy so can't get it in until week after next, I don't intend to drive it very far in that time so should be okay.
As for another issue, I can't seem to find my wiring diagram for my pioneer headunit (DEH6850) and I am stuck on one wire that is Yellow/Black. I am hoping it is for the antenna.

The blue/white is the remote, I thought this just sent out a signal every time the headunit was on (regardless of whether ipod/cd/radio station). I was just hoping the yellow/black wire might be radio specific being the only unaccounted one left.

I found one but it didn't list the yellow/black. Sorting through some others now so hopefully should find it soon; I don't know why I didn't label it as labelled all the speakers when I took it out!

Jeez, thats one nice au, I'd be chasing the mont trimmings eg bonnet grill bootspear and maybe get some high spec interior. but depends what your looking for.

IRS option across the board hey?(runs out to check my dads)

Well i guess process of elimination, although my pioneer used antenna and amp off the blue trigger wire, another possibility is tele mute or whatever for a hand free setup?

Damn, I don't like the idea of having my aerial up whenever my car is on though as I generally listen to my ipod/cd's.

I think I will just find what voltage it runs at and put a sneaky switch to run it off my ignition/constant 12v (don't see it drawing that much current being just a switch).

Yellow/Black is a mute wire. Pioneer don't have aerial outputs.
