Thanks mate, yeah I was pretty sure it would be a 6 bolt flywheel, but going on other cars I've wrecked/dissasembled, you can never be sure until you see the part for yourself. 8-)
Same with the g'box. I will get some more pics this weekend, and get the numbers from the ID tag.

The Valeo kit I am looking to get is p/n H1220N. Anyone used this kit?

Yep, that is the Valeo kit that Snap and I are both using.

Good value and works well, without a really heavy pedal.

Cheers

Thanks mate.
I just spoke to my supplier, and he tells me the part number is now V1220N. :? I looked on the interweb and couldnt find that number anywhere. Anyone heard of it?
He also told me the price I was quoted was wrong  (the guy I deal with is away for two weeks) and it is now nearly $50.00 dearer. I may have to get one thru evilbay, like you guys did. Arrggh Grrr Dammit!
Anyone else know someone in Bris-vegas that sells these clutches?

I got mine from Sunbury Brake and Clutches. They had a page on Ebay and I gave them a call.

Very nice bloke answered the phone and was very helpful.

They are in Vic, but look them up and give them a call.

I paid $236 for clutch kit + postage.

Thanks for the info Ben, I may give them a call. How long ago did you get your clutch? 8-)

Yep, only feels slightly harder than a std Ford pressure plate - steer clear of the heavy duty 3 bolt Valeo setups - way too hard.

OK, quick update. Today was quite succesful, as I now have an extra pedal in the ute!
Attachment:

I removed the dash, swapped pedal boxes, and refitted it all up. So I will be driving around with a clutch pedal doing nothing for two weeks, until I can fit the T5.
While the dash was out, I swapped dash pads with the one from my donor ute, as mine was split and cracked above the instrument cluster. The donor ute one was cherry, so it had to go in my ute.

We also welded the manual pedal box, around the factory brace, and around the pin on the pedal, as it had started to crack. Not going anywhere now. Not the prettiest welds, but no one can see them, so who cares.

I should get my flywheel back this week, and my clutch will be here next week. The guys at work are also making me a firewall reinforcing plate, and it should be ready this week too. Pics will come when it's done.
Nearly there now, this is going to be the longest two weeks, I can tell. 8-)

Not an update: I need some advice.
I just need clarification on a couple of things for my T5 conversion. As I have a factory manual XH as the donor, I am hoping the electrical side of things will be quite easy. If I understand things correctly, I just need to swap the auto ECU for the manual ECU, and plug the loom from the T5 into the appropriate plug in the main harness. The auto loom plugs into a round connector, and the manual loom plugs into a rectangle connector, in roughly the same place, on the firewall, just to the left of the engine.
Does this all sound correct? Do I need to do any other wiring? When I switch the ECU's, do I need to do the smartlock relearning thingy?
Am I forgetting anything? :?
Cheers,
Grant.

yeah the big round plug for the auto, and the small square plug for the manual, I don't know if the round plug will be in the factory manual, ecu plug in and go, it's automatically updates to the car, on the first drive.
with the round plug I just left mine loose in the engine bay, and pulled out the length of loom.

Any idea if I need to do the Smartlock re-learn procedure?

XHI's run the round and rectangular plugs like the EB-EF's (manual loom has both). Make sure the wires correspond same colours either side of the rectangular plug - some pinouts were swapped around between models.
XHII's run the block type plug between #5 & #6 inlet runners (like the EL's).
Shouldn't need to relearn as mentioned - BEM and ign barrel haven't changed.
