See me on Sunday, may be able to help you out with the new front Bar. Pity you can't bring the XR6 would still run OK on the Dyno.

Bad luck with the dog.........

Rocker cover looks sweet, but the plastic intake elbow lets it all down, i'm sure you know.......

Looks good all the same.....

Cheers

Its the EL rubber intake bend, its a good idea i reckon it will flex with the engine.

Damn! Can't have been too big of a dog though as I'm guessing your guards and bonnet are still ok?

I've hit some small dogs on motorbikes before. They are hard and throw you straight off. No idea why they feel it necessary to chase and bite car/bike tryes?

It was a medium sized dog, bonnet is fine and as is the right guard, but the left guard has been pushed back a little bit I think, but I think it just needs to be screwed tight .

Any way, I have fixed most of the damage, I have removed and fix my headlights :) and removed and repaired my indicators, the only thing I need to get back on the road is a new front bar. So if any1 has a spare Au Xr6 front bumper o could borrow I'll appreciate it :D

thanks StrawbZ

Well today was a constructive day, i really wanted to make it to the CMS dyno day so this morning before work i got cracking at trying to make my front bar roadworthy

So i removed my front bar

Image

to find that the clips and brackets on my left headlight had broken :(

so i used the clips spare from the other side of the light, and used a home mad bracket to replace the broken plastic one.

I then started to make my front bar somewhat more solid so i got some cable ties, self drillers and got cracking and i ended up with this

As you can see its an improvement and is no longer dragging on the ground, so i will be attending the dyno day tomorrow :)

Thanks StrawbZ
