Yep will be taking her down the strip. Wont be good times though as I wont have any drag slicks. Only street tyres. But will still be fun. Lotsa wheel spin. Its hard to get my 235's to stick to the road.

its not that good anymore, it made 220/230kW in stock form, a number that the standard 6-cylinder could achieve really easily.

its not really worth having it when the Boss 260/290 is the more powerful motor.

dont mind me if any of thats wrong, a few drinks and the mind wanders lol

Blower install looks great!
Really neat.
Must be a monster to drive.

Big fan of the 3Vs from the few times I've driven one, they feel like a V8 should, torquey as F**k off the line.
Looks like the 112 has improved that just a little bit ;)

The 3v engines are out of the f150 trucks in the US. They have bulke torque low down in the rev range which is what you want. Wheres the 4v boss engines have good torque up top. No good. They came out stock with 220kw. But were detuned from factory so not to compete with the boss motors too much. With a few grand these engines realy wake up. Exhaust, induction and a good flash tune and you can have up to 230rwkw. Add 3000 high stall and 4.11 gears and these 3v's have been seen doing 12.5 second ET's. Thats naturaly aspirated and with only 230 odd rwkw.

Im glad ford has stopped making these engines soly because it just makes them a very rare and sort of a collectors piece.

Good if you have one,Bad if you want one.

One of the best engines ford aus has had in the falcon IMO.

Cheers
