Extractors & thermo's are a great start for more power. Probably next cheap power mod is under drives. My Xr8 has extractors & big exhaust on it. No thermo fans yet, will probably convert it once it's on the road. My g/f's red Xr8 has thermo's, but were damaged by the accident, i will replace them when it's time to get it on the road. They do make a good improvement.

Cheers

A 3.45 diff would be a bit of a waste if it wasn't a lsd. My wagon used to spin too easy on a 3.27 single spinner. Second and third were the best though, geez I miss that box sometimes, very jealous hehehe.

My Ghia spins the bags too easy in 1st in the I6 Ghia, with 3.27 LSD & 235/45 R17's.

Cheers

What did the problem end up being? Was it in the dash?

Because it doesnt run the 4 bolt flange on the tailshaft, just the half cap type on the yoke ...

yes ea and series 1 ebs had 25 spline axles and the half cup yoke, i think they might only be 2 pinion centres aswell .. and ea s packs, ghias and fairlanes had lsd centres..

You said 1st was short now and that's with a 2.92, man is it going to kill your tyres with the 3.45. And you'll be loving every second of it

Thx for the info on the diff's guys.

Cheers
