I want a manual back in it but will slip another auto in for now and start stock piling parts. I've idled it down 150rpm,fitted new leads and fitted the au maf and after I pull the box during the week I will fit new extractor gaskets as left side is leaking bad now lol and that will do til more hp is required and will think heads then..

yeah seen that one Ash, not sure if dellow or crs do bellhousings or not but would have to put a tail shaft in with centre bearing set up as well. Not in a rush got few options with the autos to get it going again and start getting manual parts aside for it...

well it lives again with auto from a certain nf lane which went manual not long ago and all is good after decent drive and check for leaks etc. Now to start getting manual bits for it and think about what to do with gas set so its not so restrictive..

Got the starting issue fixed, turns out the starter had got oil into it and after a strip down and clean out it's all good. The car has a slight rear main leak and over time must of made it's way into the starter. Next thing on the list is jack it up and check if it's got a LSD under it and if not I will fit xg diff with 3.45 gears and see how much quicker it is then. I have a shift kit sitting here for it as well but the car shifts very firm so will check that out as well then trip to wsid time for some fun..

Check the LSD via a static load test.
That will sort it right out!

Been abit quiet with the wagon due to being cranky with it for it's tilt tray ride home few weeks ago and not ordering parts for few days then not fitting them for another week or so lol but all is good with it now (touch wood) and am driving it daily again. One thing I have noticed since fitting the au maf it runs really run rich up top say 5200-6250rpm, I thought I seen somewhere that with au maf and e serie electrics it causes that problem ? I haven't fitted the shift kit yet but will do this weekend and see what it is like then it's wsid time to see what it runs...
