me, my bro and 2 other mates bought a series1 VN V6 Executive through my work for $250.
we are strapping on a CRS kit that allows you to strap on a SC14 supercharger.

we got a series1 VN because they have heaps of down low, tyre frying torque standard. and the supercharger just makes it so much better

when we got it, it was stock as a rock
Image
then we pulled the legger diff out and installed a locker

blower dummy mounted
Image
blower fully fitted

video. man they are loud
Image
how it sits now

it has taken us about 2 weeks. getting bits etc. we are still running the clutch so it can be switched on and off.

still got some bugs to iron out. need longer leads and mount the coil packs elsewhere. it is a dedicated skid car. never to be registered

Nice work. Pitty it's a commodore, but then again CRS didn't end up doing a kit for the 4lt falcon, so it's not such an easy project.

I'm sure it will be fun down @ heathcote anyway, no matter the badge.

Cheers

Yeah, i had a look at the vid. Fair enough about the commodore, I have a couple of mates with them, but i only give them credit because they have built them their self, or modified them their self, like my mates VH SLE, getting an injected 5lt, supercharger, th400 & 9inch, or another mates SS that has calais leather, full ground up rebuild, suspension & brake mods, and a wicked sound system all done by my mate.

I wanna see a skid vid, but make sure it's not on a public road dude!

Cheers

I will be honest, that sounded like a guy with Emphysema trying to play a kazoo

Looks like it was a pretty clean old girl and the motor sounded pretty healthy, seems a bit of a waste.

Just my two cents
Enjoy

Someone hasn't heard one of them before lol. They don't sound so "tough" but they make a big improvement to power. Needs extractors & a good exhaust on the engine tho....

My workmate has supercharged his vx v6 calais, with an aftermarket kit, and when you get up it, all you can hear is charger noise, all the way up the street & from 2 blocks away lol.

Cheers

being a skid car the exhaust is going to be dropped off at the cat and the cat "high flowed"

ROFL. You will want to change that, why not make a y pipe, fit 2 factory cat's per side for flow & then just enough pipe to dump before the diff? It will still flow more than good enough and be a bit better for the environment! Not to mention sound a bit better too.

Cheers

No actual need, but still, why not? A little back pressure isn't such a bad thing is it'? I'm only talking about a little!

Cheers
