Great car there mate. Looks like a real bruiser especially with windsor grunt. By the way, what capacity is the pinto motor that was in it?

My name is karl,I live in Fort worth texas.Im37 and have only been to mexico 2 or 3 times, never been any further.flying restrictions are murder here because of the damn terrorists.I have been building mostly foxbody(79-93)stangs for the past few years.this was my first fairmont.Ive had a another 1 since buying this ,but sold it.4 door-I6 with a c4 trans.good car, just found a buyer who would give me a profit over my cost.so it went bye bye.
trying to find good 2 door fairmonts is something like hens teeth.

did you see the pics of my old Fairmont? and i'm guessing 106 degrees fahrenheit is like 45 degrees celsius. thats a typical summer here. like 3 months or more of that s**t!

just quickly, the XD-XF falcs were designed in aus, just like the XAs to XCs before, and the E series after.

ybuy4n - looks like a tough streeter, even if the styling isnt my personal cup of tea. i like the chevelle to, looks excellent.

and someones been playing a prank on you... they installed you steering wheel on the wrong side!!

I think that converting to right hand drive here isnt the norm, other than mail jeeps. It would definitely make a one of a kind.
Ive read that your country makes you convert to RHD if you bring over a "yank" car.Is that true?

The fairmont over here was the first platform that ford built our foxbody cars including the "5.0" stangs from.So almost all the parts interchange. Now there isnt a fairmont performance parts market here, there is however a huge following for the 5.0!
The car doesnt attract the attention that my mustang does driving around.Thats a good thing because the 'mont is a lot faster!
