1320 ft. is our 1/4 mile.660 ft is our /8th mie.I may be wrong in my calculations, but i believe that 1/4 mile converts to 402.336 meters,so the 1/8th is 201.168 meters.

what you talkin about fool?

an 1/8th of a mile is an 1/8th of a mile anywhere in the world.

and 1/4 of a mile is 1/4 of a mile anywhere.

as ybuy4n said, its roughly 200 and 400m respectively.

f**k im so confused hahah. its hell trippy trying to explain things to each other since everything is so different haha.

very nice car mate, love the whole 2 door fairlane. wish they had a 2 door xr haha

Dude, are you for serious???

How about thinking about s**t before posting? :?

ybuy4n, so the strip isn't where your interest lies, rather the streets?

I don't pay much attention to the 1/8 times on my slips so I can't really compare it to anything. I might have to go hunting and have a look.

How much NOS will you be running? One of the guys on here just busted another engine on NOS just recently.

Theres a calculation that can be done to work out approx 1/4 mile time from an 1/8th mile run.

1/8th mile x 1.55 = approx 1/4 mile

So 8.5 seconds @ half track would be on its way to 13.1 second 1/4 mile....... which is a nice weapon for the street

LOL. on a drag strip in Aus it's still measured in imperial terms. and yeah 1 1/4mile is the same anywhere in the world. kilometres is just a measurement of speed and distance on roads. not drag strip

Cool, well going by that equation I should be seeing 8.7 - 8.8 660' times. It'll be interesting to see if that's the case.

im starting with a 150 hp shot and may graduate to a 200 hp,if that doesnt do the trick.if you put togetherthe right combo, then it can last for years.fuel/air mix, spark plugs, hot spark ignition.i know guys running 300 shots for years.

Yes true, built right they can take gas for years. Mine has taken enough gas to buy a blower, and i have only broken it twice. First time, blown head gasket, 2nd time burt valve. But both times the bottom end is still the same. My bottom end is as ford issued it, 230thousand odd kays old, and still going string. Funny you know the only parts i have broken so far have been aftermarket stuff, cept the diff of course.
