its nice! but shoulda kept the xt front imo, and added more interior goodies.
wonder how long til ford relize people actually want things like these!

2 seconds less than it took them to realise people who want these things most likley cant afford them anyway.

holden seems to make enough sales to justify a ss wagon! i think ford should even just have a fairmont v8 wagon out!

pretty sure the ss wagon was a limited run of 500 in the vy only.

there are a lot of factors which decide which models get made and in which configuration. the fact that the wagon is now limited to xt and futura and 6 cyl only means its not viable for ford to make them any other way. wagon sales are largely sales reps, who don't really want a v8 when they're driving all day. families are heading more toward the suv type vehicle nowadays.

its nice to dream though, but ford are treading water a bit at the moment.

One of the rarest cars ever produced by ford was the 1997 EL Fairmont Ghia Wagon V8. From what i can gather they made 1. And it was Royal Blue.

it'd take them 2/10ths of f**k all to make one! and wouldnt really cost them much either, and i'm sure they would be able to up the price to fit it in! oh well
