Why go though all of that work and expense to create a hero car, that show cases all of the mods and work you offer for these models, just to sell it. Why not keep it as a display show car for a year at least?

even at 30k its still cheap.

hey darren was that a stock futura shell. reason i ask is i have a ba futura and i don't have any insulation on the firewall in mine and i notice yours does. was it an option or added later in life. mine is dec 02 build. 1st reg 03.

thats a very nice wagon. i agree that you should paint it or sticker it up in ftg colours and drive it round as promo vehicle for a bit.

what rear shocks you running? something nice and stiff to minimise the tramp those leaf springs will want to give you.

did the bf shell get a modified tunnel for the 6sp auto? learn something new everyday then.

keep the pics coming

Damn this is starting to come along. I reckon a lower bumper grille to attempt to hide the intercooler, maybe not though, depends if you want it really obvious.
Either way bloody awesome project, cant weait to see the finished project, and then bring on the territory.
