Well, I bought another car. I saw this and had to have it.
Its a 95 S1, Heritage Green, Factory sunroof and 5.0. Has a Lovato Mixer LPG System, wired through the factory fuel gauge and with the switch hidden. Performs well, bit rough intermittently on gas though. Was all original, even has the factory stereo, floormats and had the mudflaps. Got it on Saturday, sold the EL on Sunday and went out on monday and bought some goodies. Picked up some Speedy Longchamps, a Sony Double DIN touchscreen DVD, and some KYB front shocks and King Lows. I let the air out of the rear shocks, cleaned and polished the headlights, slapped the wheels on, took off the mudflaps, cleaned the interior and lubed up the windows and door latches. Was a country car, everything is full of dust. Took the engine cover off too, much better. Need to put in the front suspension still, put the system in and clean it. I'll probably put some lowered springs and normal shocks in the back to get it to handle more like a car, and less like a cruise liner. I'm thinking venetians, Black premium plates and darker tints will get it looking classier. Excuse the crap pics, its dark and the car is dirty... Welcome to the World of Windsor V8's, and you have the best looking front end Ford ever produced too. Put a decent exhaust on it and you won't stop smiling every time you drive it

Nice score dude!! As nice as the EL was, you just can't beat a LWB V8 cruiser
It's a shame that your Concordes went with the EF you had before, they would have looked awesome on this i reckon |

Cheers fellas. If I manage to find some Concordes, I'd probably buy them.
Just need to put the drivers side strut back together today and install it, and the front is lowered too. Off I go.... Last edited by SLO247 on Mon Sep 13, 2010 8:25 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

Well despite the f**k weather we have had here, I finally have the front back in one piece and on the ground. Looks much better, although I'm hoping it will settle down a bit further too. Should handle much better anyway, now the whole car is firm. It appears that the back SLS has been replaced with normal air shocks, I have a fitting in the boot so I can pump it up if I need to.
I put some Nulon 15-50 Full Synthetic Oil in too, Its really smooth and quiet. Very nice oil, definitely worth the money. Next is to clean it and get some pics, then do the system! Need to do an exhaust too I reckon, I think it has a manifold leak. Hoping its just a gasket or loose bolts or something like that. |

I got some more goodies today
-17x8 BA XR8 Copies, just like I had on the EL. Look 1000x better than the Speedy Longchamps, they were far too small. -Reconditioned Injectors. Hopefully will have it running on petrol tomorrow. -Narva Blue Power High and low beam globes. Hopefully will look great, they are rebranded OSRAM Nightbreakers, supposed to be excellent German globes. The Fairlane is sitting very nicely lowered with the 17s, I'll get pics tomorrow. Hopefully I'll finally have time to put the stereo in too. Hoping to pick up a catback ASAP and make it sound like a v8 too... |

I need to get some pics on flat ground though, so the nose isn't up in the air.
Just did the fuel filter, checked and its leaking. Found a rubber seal on the floor before, threw it out. Just realised its probably from the filter? |
