Ok update time :-)

Been waiting for this all week and finally the time came to meet up with Carbon Demon (https://www.facebook.com/carbon.demon?fref=ts) and get some decals on this bad boy. I found the stripe design on the net and sent him a pic and he made it up from scratch.

I also wanted to try and hide the ugly a** reverse camera so got him to put a stripe underneath it (kind of like a shadow) and it works perfectly, can't really tell its there anymore. The roof was an obvious choice :-)

As always - pics :-)

Looks very good Phil. Even your wheels look like the ones you had on the BF. :)

I am sure this will be the love off your life. (maybe) :D

Update time!

Now that the car is run in (nearly on 1900km) it was time to swap out the stock lower engine mount for the decent E-Focus one I ordered from the states. It was a relatively easy job, the only pain the a** bit was the support bracket being in the way and trying to get that off as it was like a jig saw puzzle. A little persuasion from a crow bar and all good.

Putting it back together took all of 10 minutes, overall the process was about 45 minutes. We went for a hoon after and wow! it makes such a difference in the dry, the car hardly axle tramps at all and I really dumped it into second to see what it would do and it just kept powering on. The wet is still pretty bad so i guess its just no hard launches in the rain. The gears feel a bit tighter too which is nice.

Not a bad mod all up, $115 delivered from the states and $30 for my mech to throw it in :-) As always lots of pics, took the advantage of getting acquainted with the underside of the car while I was there, my mech was very impressed with how tidy it all was.

Very good Job Phil and nice pics too.

I was VERY impressed with the beast Friday night too.

Don't wish to be a wet blanket but, did you ONLY buy 1 or 2 mounts? because if it DOES break or whatever, you would only get the standard one to put in and your car would be off the road for a few days to a week? Just a thought :D

Thanks mate, yeah just got the one mount, its the lower one which causes the tramping, i've still got the stock one so heaven forbid it did break I could always put that back in till I got another from the states

Ooo little update! Look what turned up today! Any guesses?

Also dropping the car off at Craved Coatings on Saturday to get the rims powder coated gloss black. Won't have it for a week which is very sad times.
