Bit of an update today! The car is finally sounding like a turbo car! Got the COBB intake installed and also the BOV fitted up.

Stopped into MPS Garage to get the work done, they ordered the intake for me as it was about $20 more for them to do it. I was going to import it from the states etc but this was a whole lot easier and not that much more expensive. The intake has made the turbo spool must quicker and you can actually hear the whistle now!

I got the BOV off another forum member. Its a turbosmart dual port, so if I decide later down the track I want to recirc it I can, however have it set to 50% open at the moment and I think it's just right - Here is a link to it - http://elevatecars.com/node/2486

Had a few people stop into the shop while I was there and compliment me on how much they liked the car - brought a smile to my face :-)

As always lots of pics, I'll try take some video later of it venting.

Old intake piping VS the Cobb piping, the difference is huge

More parts of the intake, the BOV is in the bag

Adam from MPS Garage working hard, really nice bloke and took the time to explain things to me

BOV installed, fiddly job, have to take the front right tyre off

Funny you should ask that, the other day I received from GIO the CTP for Lucifa, I don't have it anymore but, Silva is going ok.

I think the rear muffler is loose but not sure and lately just too lazy to look. :)

Little update, got some more awesome photo's done of the car from my mate Tangcla Photography (find him on facebook).

Those who have seen my Falcon build thread will notice the same background being the Wollongong Steel Works.

Anyways so happy with how they turned out, my car loves the camera!

So been a little bit quiet on the update front however stopped by MPS Garage again today as my COBB Short Shifter finally arrived. It can be set at either 30 or 40% reduction, obviously I went with the latter, as after all its meant to be a short shift.

Got it installed in about 30 minutes and I was out the door.

Best mod! The shifts are so tight and short now, it actually fixed my issue with first gear not really sitting in place properly as I could feel a kind of grinding sometimes under acceleration, now it feels right again and there isn't really any increased in resistance going into the gears either. For $200 fitted, it is a great mod, ready for the track day this weekend now :-)

As always - pics :-)

Looking good Phil!

I spotted you a couple of weeks back around Castle Towers, it stands out heaps :P

The black and white blends in really well and so far I haven't seen one like it!
