The old girl is slow but as consistant as. No matter what you did it was sitting in the 15.7-15.8
Best run was 15.73 at 88.35MPH from memory.
It can only get faster from here on in.
The answer is more power

What happened to the pics?

Funnily enough I didnt like it at all when I got it. I only bought it for parts originally.
Getting fairly fond of it now but. It is still way too slow to be exciting to drive but hopefully that will start changing very sonn................

It will, dont worry about that. The bits and pieces you have will wake it up. I can see mid 150-170rwkw with what you are about to do.

Heads are happening as well...............

Ok here is what is planned to happen.
As we know I have the GT40P's I got from TerroristGHIA some time ago sitting here waiting to be used.
I also last night picked up a Edelbrock Performer RPMII manifold from 427Stroker.
I have had my arm twisted to get into it and fit it all up and get it up and running.
So tomorrow Jaysen is dropping off the head gaskets , inlet gasket and some ARP bolts Brett has kindly hooked me up with for the cause , and Jaysen has kindly hooked me up with a bit of a bumpy stick for it. Cheers guys , really appreciated! The favours shall be returned............
Tomorrow arvo when I get home from work I will pop the head sdown to the machine shop to quickly have the decks on the heads checked and skimmed if need be.
Fingers crossed they wil be ready to go Friday afternoon , and I can start stripping the lane down.
Over the weekend in between going to a mates daughters 3rd birthday party , the local dawn service , having a couple of beers and taking the missus to the 2 up and whatever else happens  I am planning on fitting the heads and hopefully manifold. Dont know if the cam will definately go in yet. Need to check funds and time constraints.
During the week in between shifts etc Brett has kindly offered to give me a hand when Im not at work getting it sorted out and up and running. So yeah there is going to be a bit of juggling and I dare say some lead lights involved!
The goal is to have it up and running for the CMS dyno day. I have been assured it will happen easily but I must admit to being nervous.
I have a good bunch of people behind me and helping so I should stop worrying.
If we fail and dont get it running for the dyno day? I will stand on the rollers myself , spin them with my feet and make VROOM VROOM sounds!
Will be good to get that finished , then I can finish welding the Mav up , get a quick lick of paint on it to seal it up to move it out and then I have a bodykit to sort , paint and fit to an XR8 and detail it for AFD and sort a couple of nautical issues on the boat for AFD whenever that is......
Can someone please have a 29hour day and a 9 day week arranged for a bit to help me out? :P
So lets have a little book going. What figures are we going to pull out of the Lane at the dyno?
Guesses of 3KW feet powered will be accepted!
The winner will receive either a naked picture of me straddling the boat , or a coupleo f lolly pops and a trenchcoat. Beware the trenchcoat my be previously used and have a couple of stains that will easily wash out.

Come home from work to a nice little care package sitting on the front porch. Cheers Jaysen!
Heads straight into the boot of the boat and down to the machinists.
This is where the grand plan turned into a pile of poo nuggets.................
This weekend is a long weekend aint it!
The machinist is taking off at lunch time tomorrow to his holiday place down the coast for 3 days of drinking beer and knowing nothing about work. The problem is there are 4 engines in the que in front of my work.
So unfortunately the heads wont be ready in time to have it all put together before next weekend............
Oh well never to mind. We all tried our best. Luckily I found out about the machinist being off BEFORE I pulled the car apart..............

Will see what happens. Depends on what day the heads come back too. He thinks he will get them done next week.
Will check my program tomorrow when I go back into the office after the 2am start and see what next week holds. I know I have already been booked on jobs Tuesday and Thursday..........
