The settings may be a little high for it. Is the shift kit the adjustable type, if so then wind it back till it seems right. Happy with the result, even if it seems bizare.

Nah Brett it is the single stage one. I might have to look at going to an adjustable on so I can get a nice solid change without it going stupid. I fitted it back in the 3.23 single spinner days and have left it turned on ever since. Maybe with the TCU not being 100% happy with the shift points now it is a 3.45 it might be making the skift kit work against me instead of for me.
There might have been a couple of tenths in it all along with it turned off. Dunno never tried it.

Did you end up changing the fuel reg dude? If so, you might need to do an ECU reset & learn.

Cheers

i know it sounds stupid, but since fitting my adjustable shift kit (which is left @ 40%) my fuel economy on the highway has gone from 8.5L per 100km, to 10.2L per 100km

Nothing was changed between those 2 results apart from the shift kit :?

I still reckon you will once again hand me my a***.
I am thinking that the car is now under cammed for the top end and the comp.
I am swaying toward the thought that if I fit the bigger cam it MIGHT drop the dynamic compression off a tad and make starting easier.
So depending on how the tune goes it might be getting the cam changed. I have one here have just been putting off doing it.
I can see the tuning costing me a lot of bourbon...................

I will find it hard to convince you to keep the EA when you are talking Clevo powered trol.

It strikes again...............................
Voltage regulator in the alternator decided to pack it in.
Have been off to the auto sparkies and tomorrow it will be getting a new alternator with either a VN or a BA pulley fitted as they are a smaller diameter so the heap of crap should charge at isle asain with the underdrives.
It is starting to make me remember why I hated E series cars............

Sure hope so Ash.
In all fairness but after cracking the s**t and thinking about it , it is now an old car.
I suppose because it has f**k all KM's on it in the scheme of things it has just gotten to the stage now where things f**k out. Im not lucky enough for someone else to have fix things before I got it.
Also it was probably driven like Miss Daisy and pampered as a luxury car for most of its life , then I got a hold of it and started driving it how it should be driven.
