Nah dude you will still hand me my a***.

Going well all there will be time for will be for the diff gears to go in and the line lock. If the gears cant go in tomorrow I reckon it will be single spinners for me at WSID.
No chance in hell of the extractors and exhaust being done for then. Still have to have the extractors delivered here yet.
So how was the nats?

Get a set of underdrive pullies for the Fairlane Matt, that will help getting off the mark and boost throttle response. Cheaps as chips in the states at the moment.

Have been thinking of that actually Mark. Just a bit worried about charging and water flow at idle.
Is htere any issues with spinning it all slower? I am having a few charging issues with the Maverick at the moment because the alternator is turning slower at idle because of the stupid gilmer drive setup that is next on the list to go.
I just need to get a new V belt pulley made up as my ones are a weird size. Whats you recommendation on the underdrives? Which mustang set fits mine correctly?

On a different note the boat went in this morning to have its twin speed prop fitted  .
In normal peoples language it is getting a set of 3.45's and the lockright locker fitted.
Should be back in dock this afternoon if not Ill be picking it back up tomorrow afternoon after work. Hoping it will be today. Dropped in to see if they could do it at 7.00am , was no dramas and they could slip it in. Called Donna to pick me up and as we drove back past at 7.25 to turn around when she got me the boat was already up on the hoist with the wheels off and the axles out!

Heres hoping!

Probably best to speak with Mick as he did them on his Fairlane. Made quite a difference to my wagon and livened it up a bit. A set from a 95 model Mustang will fit but from memory, you need to open up the hole for the water pump pulley to fit our water pump. Probably do a search in the V8 forum as it's been discussed a fair bit. Here is a set of trickflow ones for less than US$100:

This is what I'm using on mine, its a single(crank) pulley with a longer belt so that I'm still getting decent charge with my small amperage ED alternator when it's running my DL thermo fans. US$40:

Nice, now track down an EF XR8 ECU, and change the cogs and your shift points will be fine

I grabbed a 22 tooth cog off Ash when I got the gears and put that in at the diff place. Seems to shift ok thus far.
Will the XR8 ECU make that bigger difference?
Have lined up the 23 tooth cog from Papa Smurf and will grab that on Friday night.
