Needs rims badly!
I should test the bulb, I might do that today. I don't have any more here though. I can go get more bulbs, but I can't manage to get the bulb out the holders without destroying the whole thing. Yes I'm using ordinary bulbs. I really want it working! |

Hey mate you got all number of spare bulbs to test it with if neither work, the ones for your high beam, your indicator, put one in that you know works, thatll give you an answer.
By the way don't worry about changing the bulbs themselves just flick a whole unit in.

I'll have anaother look today and see. another good spot to put crossovers is above the headunit, but under the air con ducts in behind the fascia. you will comfortably fit 2 crossovers there and its really easy to run wiring out from there too |

Interesting Nicco, sound like a good spot although, bit of a pain rewiring but it would be good to ditch the one I extended. That and I have so much s**t running in that area all ready, taking dash out use to be a breeze now i dread refitting the fascia and getting all the wiring back where it should be.
 do you get any interference having the head unit so close?on a sorta flat note i finally got an amp on the splits, so much betterjust get luder but stay clear, but I'm noticing the tweeters are a little harsh, maybe look around for some different tweeter later although I'd like focals eventually. mean time i might try a the different setting on the crossovers, also the amp for the subs died, seems like a cap problem, so still in the market for amp now, looking at an option audio tomorrow possibly.

Bit of an update, went down the wreckers yesterday, they had a NL fairlane ghia stretch with black leather interior that had salt water flood damage, the seat base was rust solid to the floor so decided to raid it somewhat.
 Seats, console lid and some so so doortrims. along with a fairlane cluster, and LTD grill   Although not set on these as my 5050seats were damn comfy, although a little worse for ware, also no back map pocket, because of the divider, although I got a large piece of vinyl I could use with them, anyway see how they go. Also got a second light fitted and wired up in the boot.  and liked the idea of the fairlanes little boot tail so nabbed that aswell.  Also recently picked up a leather shifter and ba turbo snorkel and a K&N to go with it.

nice score on the parts, especially the LTD grille !!
i was looking for one of them for awhile but have decided to stick with the stock monty grille if your ever strapped for cash, throw it up on ebay....... the last DL grille went for $260. My old NL Fairlane grille went for $170

Yeah back seat aswell, but not installed yet.
ABC self serve wreckers out wacol, what you chasing though, as it's reasonably well stripped now. I still have that armrest you wanted by the way. Yeah I'm somewhat on the fence with that, it's nice as all f**k but maybe a little to much for mine, frankly probably prefer your grill with a black mesh though, and if there bringing in that sort of coin I think it will have to go up on ebay, haha. It has a few small little nicks in the chrome etc, but overall pretty effective mirror. By the way are the NL front seats different as I just got the covers and padding off it, and the base doesn't sit close enough to the rest of the seat leaving me with this big gap.
