awesome stuff, that is my plan straight down the line. Its still currently registered as 6 cyl so ill be driving it around on petrol until i have the money to convert it to gas. hopefully no copper pulls me over while still on petrol :) still a long way off as its also getting converted to 4 speed manual single rail. no autos here

surely a mal wood pin kit can be bought for the x-series. saves you removing the dash

Quote:
MWA designed and manufactured the Pedal Pin kit for the "E" series Falcons and also the "AU" Falcon.

This is a direct bolt in pin that allows the fitting of a clutch pedal to an Auto pedal carrier ( Saving around 5 hours removing the dash and fitting a Manual pedal set)

The cost for the Pedal Pin kit is $105.

We are also in the process of developing a Pedal Pin Kit for XG-XH Utes.

MWA designed an Under Dash Hydraulic Pedal kit, this unit is an easy bolt in under the dash and houses the Master Cylinder with only the reservoir mounted neatly in the engine bay.

The MWA Under Dash Hydraulic Pedal kit is a must when fitting Manual transmissions with Internal Hydraulic Release Bearings and is far superior to anything else offered.

Kits available to suit.....

*
HQ, HJ, HX, HZ, WB Holdens and LH, LX, UC Toranas @ $790
*
XG, XH, EA, EB, EF, EL, AU Fords @ $790
*
VN, VP, VQ, VR, VS Commodores
*
RHD Mustang, but must be fitted in shop POA
*
Valiant and Charger, but must be fitted in shop POA

looks like none for x series sedans at the moment. maybe give them a call and see how far off it is, he might let you be the test monkey

Maybe its as simple as XY etc just take out the shaft slip off the auto brake pedal, then slip on the manual pedal and clutch pedal, put the cirlip back on and bingo! this whole pedal box idea sounds too hard for me!

It would be nice if the peddle box conversion was that easy. I'm lucky with my Hz pano, it was a factory manual, still has the manual peddle box, but not the clutch peddle. Just need to get that and I'm sweet.

I think in the long run it's better to remove the peddle box & weld it up properly, so it won't break down the track.

Cheers
