Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
That is so friggen NiiiiiiiiiiiCCCCeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Beau-friggen-tiful.

Stunner.

And just goes to show all those who say "paint the car an original Ford colour from it's own era is the best way" are dreaming.

Unless this is an original E series Ford colour, in which case I will eat my own crap on a pizza...
(Kidding. I hate pizza.)

Uer. Very very very swish... Awesomely good looking. Way better than "dynamic white" or any other silly standard E series colour scheme in respray mode.

Mate, if only you could spell and use punctuation, you'd make a bloody great magazine write up.
(Or, if I was in Aussie you'd have me around every weekend taking the photos and doing the write up for you....!... I'd even bring the beers... And I don't drink....)

This is turning into my favouritist E series in the world real quick. Since I'm never going to get that sort of good looker, I may as well give up and buy a bloody Toyota.

I have just sat and read all this post, bugger, you are so bloody dedicated. I have known MANY beaters and painters over the last 40 odd years and I have to say you are a credit to your profession. Most Beaters I see are Nicky (bog) phreaks and do such a slap job you wouldn't take your dinky to them.

You Sir have earned my respect and admiration. Keep it going, I will check from time to time to see how things are progressing. :D

Thats easy, just follow the guys who have already done it. edfairmont4.0 has a BF DOHC 4L in his EB1 Ghia.... DIY'ed except for removing security from the BF ECU

Do you seriously think this s**t is easy!

Smithy is heaving the best crack at this ba conversion that ANYBODY has ever posted!

Not to mention he is being a f**k legend and posting up how he has done it, so that everyone can do it for themselves! And that is what fordmods used to be about, not the s**t it has turned to in recent months.

You link me to to a thread on fordmods that has gone to equal detail on how to install the BA dash and door trims and i will shut the f**k up!

Exactly, could have not said it better myself mate! There has been so much R&D on the BA interior it puts other attempts that have been posted in the past to same. What makes me laugh is the people that post in this thread saying what Smithy is doing is easy!

I love freshly painted engine bays, and whats even better is that colour WOW I have never been so moved by a colour before but it almost brought an emotional tear to my eye.

20/10 for your effort.
