I loved it, but sadly I chose kids over cars so have to do it myself on the vheap.
Shame we won't get to see it finished. |

wouldn't cover the cost of the front end work if you had to pay for it .it's a dam shame ,i hope whoever got it see's the amount of hard work he's put in and finish's it off . I'd hate to see it wrecked out just for parts |

What a devestation!
All that work and then to need to sell it! I chose family too and could never do somthing to such a scale although i want to. There was a lot of bidding, 14 for the winner alone, but only a final raise of $50! Was it all $1 bets?? Agreed it should have been in the sale contract to finish it on the thread! I hope the new owner finishes it, gets it on front page of street fords and gives all the credit to SMITHY! For such an awesome 70% complete project! (maybe even mote than 70)

I just read most of this build..... from start to the point where he said he has to sell it.... then nearly cried haha. That sucks man but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Hope all is well! it was a kick a** project with some quality work!

... as above just finished the read and saw it was GONE!!!
well at least he was n't half a*** lol was expecting last 2 pages to be him putting AU IRS into it or a 9" or something  And if your'e reading the bit about installing a window, a hot tip is to cut a triangle out of the tip of the sikaflex tube about 10mm high so you can get a nice peak of glue for awesome contact...

just got myself an au series 3 and was getting lots of ideas. anyone know where the car ended up? would love to see it complete.
