There is something more on the horizon for Lucifa, BA rear brakes with the drilled and slotted discs.

Ash, I got the M/C out of the box today to take a look for any numbers that might help to differentiate it from a Standard one, there is just a stamping number on the body K213-046C and on the top side of the M/C is 05A. At the end of the M/C are numbers as well, C2.5 and 20G0, hope that helps?
Another Mod that I have never shown here in the one I did for the Air Cleaner Outlet from a BA. To attach the BA Air Tube to the AU Air Cleaner I got a piece of 75mm Steel tube from TROYMAN and changed the Air Cleaner outlet bracket for one from a V8 and voila, a Mod was born BTW, I used the original PCV hose, a piece of plastic conduit and an ED PCV hose joined together. Hey papa smurf,
How is the build going? Found your build to be a good source of inspiration for my future plans... Keep up the good work... Josh

I also now have 2 new Upper Rear and lower control arms to fit, 2 new rear shocks, rear BA brakes, Master Cylinder, Bracket for Pedal, Booster (courtesy of a FRIEND) and also new Front lower and upper control arms with new bushes and ball joints. As soon as I can find the time they will be all changed. I am also going to have the front screen changed and some paint work attended to. |

Ash wrote: Hi George, I wanted to ask when you did the brake conversion, when mounting the AU2> swaybar bracket there are 4 bolts that hold it to the chassis, 2 on either side. The 2 on the inside, were the threads there for them? I've been asked and I'm not sure, but the AU1 car that this is being done to appears to have the inside 2 with no thread and an internal plate blocking the backs of the holes. Does this sound familiar or are you aware of why? Cheers It MAY be a late AU I but the holes were not drilled on the inside. I was fortunate enough to drill the inner holes from the outside and was out a poofteenth. If you could buy one of those angle drill attachments that 2would fix the problem. I used the original allen key bolts on the inner holes with no worries. |
