Finally today I finished the job of adding BA brakes, lower control arms, stub axles and sway bar to Lucifa. It has taken me a long time to get around to it and I guess people would think I am OLD and slow, I am
While I was at it, the new SL springs went into the front, looks so much better now as the front has come down considerably. Here are some picks. |

Looks great. Did it all go smoothly? I'm keen to hear how they compare to the original gear.

Something I made sure I did when I cleaned the front was to clean up the ABS sensors, so many people miss cleaning them, even some mechanics |

Should be a huge improvement over the AU1 set-up. Thanks guys, was worth the effort, now I need to do the rears, change the Calipers and Discs to BA. I also have a Tickford AU Master Cylinder, 25mm bore as opposed to 22.87, that should add some more oomph to the brakes. |

{USERNAME} wrote: Good to see George! What is the Tickford M/C from? Is it badged Tickford or is there any other descriptive labelling? There is no Tickford label of any kind but it is 25mm bore. I will have a look tonight when I get home and see what numbers are stamped into it, they are also the same for XR with Ind rear suspension. |

There is something more on the horizon for Lucifa, BA rear brakes with the drilled and slotted discs.

Ash, I got the M/C out of the box today to take a look for any numbers that might help to differentiate it from a Standard one, there is just a stamping number on the body K213-046C and on the top side of the M/C is 05A. At the end of the M/C are numbers as well, C2.5 and 20G0, hope that helps?
Another Mod that I have never shown here in the one I did for the Air Cleaner Outlet from a BA. To attach the BA Air Tube to the AU Air Cleaner I got a piece of 75mm Steel tube from TROYMAN and changed the Air Cleaner outlet bracket for one from a V8 and voila, a Mod was born BTW, I used the original PCV hose, a piece of plastic conduit and an ED PCV hose joined together.
