Yes actually and getting a little frustrated as I can't do much at the moment. I am still on extra drugs and hopefully can go back to the Coal Mines next week.

Hey papa smurf,
How is the build going? Found your build to be a good source of inspiration for my future plans... Keep up the good work... Josh

They are Ash, I worked on the back counter today and we had 4 cars with the bloody things on, it drove me NUTS
I also now have 2 new Upper Rear and lower control arms to fit, 2 new rear shocks, rear BA brakes, Master Cylinder, Bracket for Pedal, Booster (courtesy of a FRIEND) and also new Front lower and upper control arms with new bushes and ball joints. As soon as I can find the time they will be all changed. I am also going to have the front screen changed and some paint work attended to. |

Jesus you have been doing a good impression of a Bower Bird.
You must take a BIG lunch box to work......

{USERNAME} wrote: Hi George, I wanted to ask when you did the brake conversion, when mounting the AU2> swaybar bracket there are 4 bolts that hold it to the chassis, 2 on either side. The 2 on the inside, were the threads there for them? I've been asked and I'm not sure, but the AU1 car that this is being done to appears to have the inside 2 with no thread and an internal plate blocking the backs of the holes. Does this sound familiar or are you aware of why? Cheers It MAY be a late AU I but the holes were not drilled on the inside. I was fortunate enough to drill the inner holes from the outside and was out a poofteenth. If you could buy one of those angle drill attachments that 2would fix the problem. I used the original allen key bolts on the inner holes with no worries. |

{USERNAME} wrote: rims on the car yet? i am very curious to see how it looks... Not yet matey, I have been ill lately and that has sort of dragged back the schedule to fitting these and the new suspension components. I don't want to put them on and drive around with the wheel alignment out so I will wait until I can change the front and rear control arms, and brakes. |
