earlier version?
The mounts were a bit annoying, it turns out it was only the RHS that was broken. But the motor got itself jammed in there tight, I had a brace across the two strut towers pulling upwards and a trolley jack under the bellhousing and it went bang and finally come free.

They are the twinlight setup.

you will, the headlight wiring. The earlier ones have an issue that when you flick the high beams on, the low beams will cut out.
And the ED XR front is a straight bolt on

not worried about the low beam cutting out
won't be using stock globes [90/130 & 120] ..... by then should be running a AU alt & wiring will be changed if needed - my old val ran 3 relays - one for low & two for high [high beam plus spotties] ok re ED .... also running the 2.77 diff will neva get ya off the line quick [but i think ya knows that] & ya got more chance of breaking engine mounts different val had 2.77 & i changed it too 2.92 - did seem to make a change & i didn't want to go to 3.23. the EA wagoon i bought for parts spun well with the 2.92 lsd & 5sp running the stock 3.9 - the wagoon i'm putting on the road will hopefully have 3.27 lsd [combination of the 2.92 lsd & the 3.27 EB] |

Finally fitted my venetian
{DESCRIPTION} Also after the Sydney trip I did (5 up, and towing a car) it needs rear upper and lower trailing arm bushes, centre steering shaft uni and rack bushes. Grabbing them today to do over the next couple of weeks when I get time.

been a while since I posted. Did the upper and lower trailing arm bushes. Fitted 2 new tyres (the rear ones wore out really quickly )
Cut out the front speaker holes from 4" to 6.5" and fitted some Morel Tempo splits. Damn they sound good. and for S&Gs got the subs measured by a SPL metre thing. Got 134.1db with 2 Morel Primo subs in a prefab sealed twin 12" box running 1k of power. Got a 3.23 LSD lined up for the old girl too. Just waiting on the guy to pull it out and for me to have the time to go to Melbourne to pick it up But apart from that it's been really good, cheap, motoring. Been very reliable and clocked over 311,000kms the other day.

Very nice im proud of you for having 2 EA's Also just curious may you show some pictures of the doors with the 6.5" woofers i would like to see how it is done please As i had splits and put them in the rear and went with 4"s at the front old girl is going along nicely the 3.23 should liven it up alot not like it needs it has plenty of go i bet |

meh. with the 2.77 rear it's a bit of a slug.
that would mean i'd have to pull the door trim off again....
