Indeed ^^^^ and still wouldn't bring that to the street i work on!! haha.

I did more on the weekend, but i took pics on the wrong camera, the one i don't have a cable for. I finished the front floor, and cut out the rust in the back panel and took the piece to work today to make up a new panel. I had some 1.6mm zinc sheet laying around at work, it'll do nicely.

Should have pics tomorrow.

Ok, made up part of the rust repair panel today. It still needs 1 more bend, but its a tricky one, so i'll have to wait til the weekend and take it to the car and mark it out, then bend it at work next week, (note currentl the car is not at my house)

Firstly this is the rusty panel i cut out. Normally this amount of rust in 1 spot would dictate i f**k car, but for some reason, this was ever the only real "bad" bit. I think its due to a dodgy towbar install.

Here i am cutting the zinc sheet into correct size.

This is the new panel peices, it will be spot welded together like this.

This shows the profile, i mader the 2 sections that will fit to the body of the car about 20mm longer so it can be spot welded in.

More soon, stay tuned classic lovers.

this project is gonna be sweet. As long as the V8 is fuggin loud, the body low, and the paint shiny...... its a winner !!

Indeed it'll be low, loud and shiny, and PIMP AS f**k.

That silver LTD is bagged, with 20's, conversion was done by Mild 2 Wild Customs in NSW, and has plates that spell TANK. Recently sold on ebay if i remember correctly.

I was supposed to do some more on it this weekend, but i hit the piss way to hard last night, and am too buggered.

Next weekend FTW
