Yeah i'm not overly worried, I just never really know/thought tire size makes such a difference. Can't wait to see how she goes though, I'd be happy with around a 14.2 pass

i ran a 14.5 with 170rwkw and 40 degree heat.

The supercharger will give a butt load more torque through the rev range though.

Are you running 19's? For some reason I thought you only had 17's LOL. But yeah I'm not worried about the loss of power :D More excited to get the call from Paul saying everythings ready to be installed :D

Yeah its all been paid for just waiting on billets for the cam. Also waiting for a price for a 3" Exhaust from CVE, just cloning one similar to yours I think, probably going cat>Chambered middle muffler>Varex at the end

I mentioned a while back that my father in law had his SSV worked by Horsepower Factory, I managed to get some images from him of the beast. He keeps the details on the car very hush hush but I know that it has a 427ci LS engine with fully worked heads, bottom end with all the goodies ( Forged pistons etc etc ), Whipple 3.4L Supercharger, Full 3" Exhausts with Varex mufflers, Tru Trac rear end, lowered ( On what I'm unsure ). The beast on it's first run on the dyno with the new 427 it ran 496RWKW and will be going back for another shortly! I know its a Holden ( Yuck! ) but the amount of $ spend, care and effort I can appreciate!

A bit of an update:
I'm still waiting on the head, cam and tune etc etc. However I have fixed my driveway so the agents will be going on as soon as I get the time!

However more excitingly I was given a Windsor 302 Block yesterday for free! No. JG11LC52415k;
J= Aus Built
G= Broadmeadows
11= Futura
L= 1971
C= Jan

So it's obviously from a XY Futura, I don't know what to do with it yet as It's only the block no heads etc etc. Wont be going in the XR, BUT might start building the 302 and put it into another XR!

The code you have quoted is the VIN number.

What is the engine number of the block?

Could be a 302 Windsor as 302 Clevo's were made in Aus only and from around 1972

I have been too busy to have another look but I think it was the only number printed on the block!

Yes you are correct, was only prior to 1971 that they used a Body number and a Vin number. My error.

I thought I'd chuck up an updated "to do" list for the XR:

3" Exhaust
Wolf V550 ( if funds can stretch that far otherwise V500)
Ported Inlet Manifold
Eventually Full Bottom End Rebuild ( This will be further down the track )
Slotted Rotors
Upgraded Pads
Braided lines ( perhaps)
I'm sure there will be little things which will need to be done like upgrading fuel pump, injectors, ignition etc etc

Ticky Kit
Lowered on SL's or maybe Pedders
BA Seats

That's about it, with all of that done the XR will be where I want it and just enjoyed for the rest of its days or at least until I need more power and go turbo! Lol

Not Much to update really,
The cam billets are supposed to come in at the end of next week so hopefully the following week the head will be put on and tuned the following Saturday. I decided to fork out for the 3" Exhaust so I can have it at the same time as the head, going with the setup Paccies opened to 3" > Empty Cat > Chambered middle muffler > Xforce Varex at the end > Shinny Chrime tip too! :)

So the car is really starting to come together now, only need Slotted discs before the drag day on the 28th and I'll be laughing!
