Other than growling the pot of gold, there is nowhere to put it. Thank god your not there. Well the reason you would have the ute is to carry a bucket of lube large enough. As far as how far along the rainbow homo spectrum you go it cannot be confirmed as no one has gone there yet. Word kicking around but is that you have to pay Yobboford and TerroristGHIA a toll on the way past them , so thats pretty well out in gimpsville.

Success!! After a full week of calls and emails with Ford Australia, they have decided the best way to make me go away is give me whatI want. It appears I have just employed my 4 year olds tactics and won!
Ford will be sending me documentation to specifcially state that 104 1999 Series 1 TE50's were produced, however Ford Australia does not view this car as being of low of limited production. I queried the second part of their statement as a previous conversation was that cars of low production in their eyes were vehicles build in numbers suitable for homologation, when I advised homologation numbers would be in either 200 or 300 amounts depending on what class they were homologating the car for, they were stumped. Realised that fighting with me on this was futile. I agreed that pending NSW RTA accepting their statement on build number I would take the letter. NSW RTA has confirmed via email that the statement Ford australia made does qualitfy the vehicle under the low production vehicle catagory and my submission would be considered. Pending RTA approval, this car will be back on the road!! Even under the RTA, the verbal conversations I've had with the relevant dept has agreed the car is more than suitable for repair.

Apparently special items, restricted build numbers and a very hefty price tag.
NSW RTA wording is - Low Production Quantity - This is a limited Edition Vehicle. They then go on to site the example of a Holden Monaro CV8 Z. I discsussed the monaro as a limited build with them as well, they said a standard monaro was not an eligible vehicle but a CV8Z was as it was last of the line and were a predetermined number built. There is other criteria that I have had to meet as well, but this was the biggest hurdle, as I needed to prove that it is what it is and be backed up with Ford Australia supllied documentation. Cannot even be Ford dealer documentation. Its a head f**k I tell ya. trying to get ford to confirm anything in writing is very very difficult, and the records kept during the AU period are very ordinary. Considering I had the talk to 6 different people to even find one who was WILLING to help. Pfft. I hope ford Australia can send me a PM, I can give you some feedback on how to improve your business.

patience? patience? Thats a commodity that is in very high demand, very short supply. I am not sure how I have made it to this point, But right now it appears to deep to pull out of so I am gonna stick with it, All those who get in my way will be doomed.
Letter from Ford has not yet arrived and that is holding up proceedings right now, once received, all documentation will be submitted to have the TE50 certified as suitable and s**t will get underway. Hardly the worklog I wanted to be submitting here, but hey. Lets roll with it.

Credit where credit is due. Matt, thanks for linking me the required documents, the headaches and total time on hold to gather required paperwork will be worth it in the end. I know this much.
