Today, the TE got its plates back!! The registration process is now complete. The NSW RTA has financially destroyed me. It actually cost me more to reregister the car than it actually cost to repair it!!
But, onwards and upwards. The build process will now refocus to other aspects that I want to do. Namely more go..

Matt, I just want to give you a big thank you mate, Thanks for your help, travelling from The Ruff to The Shire on multiple occassions is massively appreciated. Weather assisting playing parts installer, Panel courier or welder. Thank you. Also to everyone else who lent a hand, Troyman, for making panels avalible, Uniacidz, for the bagde. Papa Smurf for your parts supply as well. Anyone else who had a hand in it all. Feels great to get it back on the road the way ford intended. I will be taking it to Liverpool on friday, the start of many destinations.

Looking good Dave!!
It's such a shame our nsw standard issue plates look so horrible I reckon old rims back on it and clear side repeaters and it'll look mint

Wheels are Ghia spec, got me through blueslip!!
White slim line plates are $99. I will be getting some personal plates, Just 3 letters 3 numbers nothing ridiculous. Clear indicators? dunno? I like the amber ones. Might try them. Gotta decide what to do wheel wise as well. do I go for some 19's or 18's or just wrap my stockies in new rubber? First world problems huh. Ah well, least I am not fighting for Kony!
