Round wheels with Triangle tyres are where its at!
The ride can be a little rough but.

So, I now have a set of these fitted

Image

They have been on the car for a month or 2 now, awesome tyre.

I have the SRT Bendix, so the car now stops.

On friday night it was thrown on a scantool and checked for codes, nothing. The car is healthy. So now to wait until tax time and get a tune to sort out the fuel consumption drama. But I am now making progress with the car, other than fixing s**t on it.

Its a good feeling.

I'll need the diff looked at before the end of the year, but its fine for now. has a clunk that appears to be CV's.

Yep, same tyre, and they are a Nitto Invo. Awesome bang for your buck when they were on a half price sale!

Yeah, Invo's. I have done a few good runs with them and really put them through their paces. Both to Jenolan Caves and to Kangaroo Valley. Stuck well even when pushed hard. I won't say how fast I went as its not important, but, they hung on like s**t to a blanket.

So, its christmas, The car made it this far this year without me bending it or someone else hitting it..
So I thought I would lash out and purchase some new boots for her.

The old...

The new..

Nice set of Speedy Cheetahs 19's.

Now, something tells me I need to pull the brakes and give them a good clean up and respray, perhaps its because you can actually see them now. they are only 330mm but I still want them to look the part.

Image

Colour for calipers? Stuffed if I know. Red is overdone, thanks to every boy racer wanna be brembo owner out there. Yellow, um no thanks, its not a porsche..

Not silver, not interested in constantly cleaning them..

So what colour to go for?

Blue as it is a Ford.

Although, Black would work well too.

Cheers
