Who is doing your 9inch??? i can recommend someone who has done a 9inch in a E series and made the ABS work perfect.
I would consider a AOD but i dont know of anyone in Australia who actually builds them but this dude http://www.tassoneracing.com.au/ bring in gearboxed from the US and come with warranty. I can email you the latest catalogue to see all the boxes they have available

Sydney competition warehouse will more than likely get the go ahead for the diff. Reasonable prices for what you get. Also considering QPAC but would need to send the car to QLD.

Update from today.
Heads, cam and intake all removed. They are now on their way to their new owner. As it sits the 5.0 is still in the car. My next days off will see the 5.0 separated from the box and then the engine removed from the car. I will talk to my engine builder and see how we go. I hope to have the assembled bottom end and heads for a trial fit to see weather my difillipo's will stay or i have to go custom. A little bummer is the fact my NOS kit i currently have will not be used, as the BoxR is totally different to the RPM. Updates will follow as they come to hand. Brett

Are you interested in the spacer. I no longer need it. The rail for the gas kit will possibly be for sale soon as well. I have to talk to a machinist and see what he can do, as i really love the application of the gas by that rail.

Brett,
Do you have to modify the inner guards for extractor clearance with the bigger motor. Maybe some DeDazzleo's could fit....hehehe Looking forward to be involved with this beast. Data, maybe first ride should go to the person building the roll-bar ....lol P.S. i found a cheap NOS nos kit on flea-bay....i'll see how it goes. Cheers Daz

Well, the Cam, timing gear, gaskets and external oil pump have arrived. Next is the valves and springs. Once the heads are assembled, the dummy fit of the bottom end can commence. Then i need to work out where the oil pump will be mounted. The Aircon looks like it will get the a***, and the blower will be going where the alternator is, so the alternator will be moved to the drivers side lower idler pulley.
Its getting there Brett

Yep, Novi 2000. How else do yopu think i am going to get to 1000wrhp. Thats roughly 1500 at the engine. So will be a 9.0:1 comp, 427 Blown and intercooled with a little hit of NOS and a NOS spray bar for the intercooler. I am looking at aftermarket Aircon, as i really want to keep the climate control. Like you said data a fairmont without aircon, that just aint right.

I was actually hoping to keep the revs under 7000. I want the cubes and the blower to do most of the work, as opposed to rpm.
