Surely you can build most of it, and just pop in the slugs and bolt on the heads when they arrive.

I have the heads, and the springs, and all the other bits, but order 2 has the valves, slugs and rods. Need the valves to finish the heads, and the slugs and rods so it can be balanced, as weight needs to be taken off the flexplate to suit 351, then it can be assembled. Only thing i will need is pushrods, but wont know the length til it is dummy assembled and measured.

Well it was another good day from summit.

Sitting here is my new NOS plate for the Box-R.It only runs 1 jet for the NOS and one for the fuel.
Also to arrive was my second LC1. When the work on the ED has finished, i will get around to wiring that little puppy in, then i can have full closed loop control, as i will have one sensor for each bank, yea.

Mmm....very nice.

Might look at upgrading to that 90mm T/B later on, the 80mm should do for now.

Yep, pretty trick looking bit of kit. It is the shiniest bit of alloy i have ever seen, When taking the photo it showed the camera in the spacer.

Well another good day for the 5.8. The Manifold turned up today, and it seemed a little short on bolts, so to ensure it was all there I dummy fitted it together.
Also installed the NOS plate.

These are an interesting design, in that the base plate has 6 studs screwed into it, and the NOS plate replaces the factory spacer. The Spacer attaches to the upper via allen bolts, then the upper is placed over the studs and bolted down.

Check pics for detail.
