Well, she made 166rwkw, and we ran out of time. Joe had another engagement tonight, but said he could happily play with it all night. On a high note also made mid 400 torque. This is down a little on the 65mmTB, but there is more in it. I have the vids, but havent uploaded them from my phone yet. The NOS was not activated due to my brilliant ability to wire. It was all systems go, bottle on, 1000psi in the bottle, and..........................
NOTHING. I obviously stuffed up the wiring.
On a side note, i now have a pod that needs to be boxed, due to the fitment of the reg, and my BBK 70mm is whistling like a steam train. Have searched the web and this can be a common occurrence, just needs to be ported in the ISC area and all will be fine
Stay tuned for further updates.
Brett

No bill, i didnt cut the yellow wire. I cut 4 black wires in the bay, marked the appropiately, but during the re assembly the markers fell off, i took a stab and was wrong, so now i have to get the mulitmeter and just test test test, til i get it right

Well i found my missing horsepower. I have made a similar mistake to several cars from WA and with the change back to a 70mm TB, my TB is only opening to 3/4 throttle. Simple silly mistake, and a trap for beginners when fitting a larger throttle.

Well, mate, at least it wasn't an expensive problem then.

Good to hear it is all on track again.

Yea, no i need to get my new laptop to talk to the EMS. it doesn't have an RS232 port and as such, all the "virtual ports" i have tried dont seem to work. Have tried PCMCIA to RS232 and USB to RS232 but with no luck yet. I need this so i can re calibrate the TPS now, as full throttle is " outside the current range.
Brett.

Ah no, the contagious 3/4 throttle disease. Has been going around quite alot over here lately now its spread to the east side.
Seriously though, good to see you picked it up mate and rectified it, its one of those silly things that can cause headaches.
Good to see its all sorted now Brett.

OK, today at Crescent we had another little paly and returned a lazy 177 rwkw. And after much sorting and some issue with the New NOS kit it was finally given a squirt. No i need to say, it was running rich as hell and wasnt strapped down, so the 596NM of torque and 240rwkw are an indication of what is still to come. Pictures and fresh vid to follow later this evening.
Cheers
Brett
