Pretty sure Trickflow and many resellers advertise that Twisted Wedge heads (guessing that is your heads) require pistons to suit heads. It is a common advert note, unlike some other after market heads with different valve layout.

yea when you order must say to suit twisted wedge heads.....due to there canted valve offset ....... dude should have just ordered trickflow pistons?

Its all good. They only needed 2grams from each piston. As a result the bottom end didn't need re balancing. The builder has them back in his hands, and i will be out there bright and early tomorrow morning to assist in the re-assembly.
The Terrorist moved from the back of the house to the front of the house today, in preparation for its little Journey next Saturday for it's heart transplant. Brett

Well, the motor dropped in today, Pics to follow later this evening.
There is a reason ford didn't make a 5.8 EF, the friggen thing is too tall, when used with a Box-R manifold, so i will be swapping the Box R for an R-Series upper. This will give me 1.25 extra inches of clearance and should solve most of the issues. Brett
