How bout a larger scale EL GT bonnet intake/bulge.

would make ya look twice thats for sure.

That is one of the ideas that I have in mind at the moment. A9X is out been done to death. Elanor comes to mind as does the possibility of L88 scoop. I think we will see what the mind and the cardboard comes up with over the weekend after I assemble Kathy's Motor. I still have to aquire a BA bulge in steel for another customer as it is as well as produce another XB bonnet and another for myself, then there is the rear bar for the Wagon as well as my stealth project. Ahhhh well oooh for some 48hr days.

One of the ugliest scoops ever invented, and I thought you had taste Stu.

But Fiberglass is your friend

This time round I think we might be in steel.

Although I truly hate to admit it a (cough cough) VL "style" might be OK , or indeed something in that style as it is seemingly wide enough wide and height is easy enough to sort out!

I think not. I will be out tinkering with it tomorrow afternoon. I have a plan that i will run by SWC and see what he thinks. Totally doable i am sure, but i need to see where it will lie in the bigger scheme of things.

Another small, but very significant update. After discussion with some people in the know. It now appears that the NSW RTA allowing a 15% increase in capacity will work in my favour.

The Terrorist currently has 5000cc listed on its papers, so therefore a 351 can be fitted using the RTA formula without an engineer. It is merely a substitute engine.

Things are looking up.

is that standard displacement,or flywheel kw?as cam and internal changes can double or triple flywheel kw out put, more than the car was designed for.my thoughts on it was a increase in flywheel kw out put,but we never do the maths

From what i understand of the legislation Hans, it is displacement.

I agree. In the territory if you turbo a car there is a formula to convert to virtual swept volume (I think it is cc's x 1.3) so yeah I would say that its displacement and not kilowatts, otherwise theyd have to put every car on the dyno for rego. Thatd save a few people some money I bet.
