Well, another day and another update.
Attached are some pics for your viewing pleasure and to show where i am up to. Attachment: front.JPG Here is an overview of the front of the bay. Attachment: PS View.JPG This view is from the Passenger side and shows the tight clearance around side of the motor. Attachment: TB and piping.JPG The 90mm TB and associated 4.5-4.0 in piping Attachment: Almost done.JPG As can be seen its getting real close now. Whats left to do in the bay? Some new fittings for the Fuel reg and mounting of said reg. Fitment of the "custom Dizzy" and the coil packs and leads. Final tidy up of the NOS wiring and deletion of the majority of the NOS components. Oh and perhaps some rewiring of the driversside ABS and associated loom. Then there is all the under car stuff to be completed, but that can wait for another update. Thanks for reading. Cheers Brett You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Under car stuff that needs doing.
1. Do up the tailshaft 2. Fill the box and converter 3. Attach the supply line for the box 4. Replace sender and cog for the Auto due to ratio change. 5. Attch mounting points for handbrake due to change to AU diff 6. Attach "hooks" for the handbrake cable over the rear cover of the diff That should be it. I will be attending to alot of these items today before work. I also need to find my V8 ECU, i seem to have misplaced it and need it for start up. Brett

You're a crack up Brett! All the impossible things you make look easy and then this! LOL Have got spare keys as well?? It'll be well worth a trip to Sydney to see the finished beasty, not that you're ever really finished with a project like this, are you? Best Wishes, long time no see, Cheers, Mac

Reason he is missing the ECU is that he pulled it out to try it in my car when I was having issues.
Im am 150% positive I gave it back but. We put it in ED didnt we at Livo? I think I still have the old NF one here if needed.

G'day EVL,
You two really are made for one another!! This sounded promising:- "Reason he is missing the ECU is that he pulled it out to try it in my car when I was having issues." This is not so promising:- "Im am 150% positive I gave it back but. We put it in ED didnt we at Livo? I think I still have the old NF one here if needed?." It's missing a little something on the really positive side isn't? LOL LOL Catch both at Livo soon, Cheers, Mac

Actually this needs to be more compliant than your or my car would ever be.. He is the example not the exception. s**t needs to be above board 100% of the time. I hear what you are saying though. bit of tongue in cheek. So, Brett, will this be completed in time for the Jenolan Caves run as hoped?
