Well, it has been a busy few weeks
The 8860 is out and has been sold. The interior looked like this for a few days, as a new ECU and engine bay harness was located and installed. That is a big job. Huge thank you to Jase for the assist on removal and replacement of the dash. All thats left now is the new dizzy, as i am no longer running coil packs, and the fitment of the 2nd O2 sensor. The car will then be fine for tuning, The SCT stuff turns up monday. And lastly to replace the rear callipers and the rear springs, as i am not happy with the way it sits. Enjoy Brett You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Great work Brett.
Im still quite impressed with that power figure regardless of the issues. She's going to be one healthy donk once everythings sorted.

It should be good for low 250's or more, and there is always my little button to make up for any deficiency. It will take 7000rpm, but due to less than 100k on this motor it was restricted to 6000 to be on the safe side. Dazz, I know it will be, and it is getting closer and closer every day. Brett

It was wired in by a pro, but due to some heat issues it was deemed best to replace the lot. I had several signal wires that were one large blob. Brett

When i fitted the EMS, it was all that was available, now with the SCT stuff, i no longer need to run an aftermarket ECU.
There is the added bonus of ease for engineering when the time comes for that as well. Brett

Bit more of an update.
I have had a busy couple of weeks and have moved back into tidying up the engine bay. The ford racing rocker covers were removed and a set of old school powered by ford ones have been fitted. The final pieces for the guage pod have arrived and been fittted, plus the dash and looms are all back in again. A pic says 1000 words so check these out. Cheers Brett You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Looking good mate.
I might have to stop hanging s**t on you now I think. At this rate I reckon you will actually have yours back on the road before I have mine finished. About time too. I have only been waiting nearly 3 years to be taken for a ride in this thing. Sitting in it in your backyard making broom broom noises doesnt count!

Been a little progress.
The EBAY dizzy i purchased wasnt cutting the mustard. The shaft had to be modified as it sat to tall and didn't engage the oil pump drive correctly. Then it was not providing a strong spark, which pointed to a failed module inside the dizzy, so thanks to Sam12H a 5.0 dizzy was disassembled and the internals have been placed into the 351 housing. This fixed the week spark problem, but me being me, it seems i have the firing order wrong and she wont fire up, and as a result is just flooding. All that is left is the MAF Plug for the 90mm, the passenger side O2 sensor extension, and to route the breather from the passengers side valve cover to the catch can. Oh and to get the damn thing to fire up. Oh, and then i need to reinstall the bottle of goodness, but am awaiting on some bits and pieces from the states for that. Can anyone say 400rwkw forced??? Lets see if i can achieve that. Brett
